European bathroom pod market leader RB Farquhar Manufacturing secures Radisson Edwardian contract in Guildford.
RB Farquhar has this month (January 2010) announced a major new hotel contract award for bathroom pods worth approximately £1 million for Radisson Edwardian hotel developments.
The contract award has been placed by Uxbridge based main contractor Galliford Try. The £30 million contract for RMH (Guildford) LLP will include a 185 bedroom Radisson Edwardian Hotel along with apartments and an underground car park. Completion is due for mid 2011.
Our sales and design teams have worked closely with their counterparts involved directly in the scheme to ensure the bathroom pods for these contracts confirmed in every detail to the Clients specification requirements part of which includes achieving a “Very Good” BREEAM rating.
“This will be the fifth Rezidor Hotel Group scheme in the UK that will incorporate bathroom pods that have been produced in our pod assembly plant in Chomutov in the Czech Republic” said Kelly Fraser, sales manager with RB Farquhar Manufacturing.
“RB Farquhar has also supplied bathroom pods to other Rezidor Group hotel sites, most recently Park Inn Aberdeen. The 184 bed hotel located at Justice Mill Lane is due to open mid 2010. Bathroom pods have also been installed at Park Inn Manchester and two Radisson SAS hotel developments in Cardiff and Bristol during 2007 and 2008.”
The Rezidor Hotel Group has over 320 hotels in operation and under development with more than 67,000 rooms in 50 countries.
